Developmental Coordination Disorder Australia Inc.

DCD Australia works to improve the lives of children, adults and families affected by DCD. We advocate for access to services and support; facilitate peer support; raise awareness; and support and educate professionals and the community.

What is DCD?

DCD is a lifelong condition that makes skilled movement challenging. It can impact on daily living, education, employment, leisure and play. DCD is poorly recognised and under-diagnosed.

Resources

We provide a variety of factsheets and guides to those affected by DCD and those looking to provide support. Our resources are prepared by experts in the field using evidence-based research.

Research

Impact for DCD was a national survey measuring the impact of DCD on Australian children and their families. You can read the report here and sign up to hear about other Australian projects.
